Hello new friends, and welcome to our home on the web. We hope you’ll enjoy exploring all our videos, fun photos, Cutie’s restaurant reviews, follow us on Twitter and will become our fan on Facebook, too.
This is an introduction to some of our favorite parts of the OGs blog. Of course you won’t want to miss our 100% true theme song, written for us by our sweet and talented friend The Ukulady. One of our most popular videos shows us cracking up as our granddaughter Kim tells us some corny old jokes. We’re told our laughs are infectious, which goes along well with this whole "going viral" business!

You may have figured out by now that we have an opinion on just about everything, like the importance of going to the dentist, lesbian love affairs, the secret ingredient in Appleby’s riblets, how to be a style trendsetter, the possibilities of time travel, the Slanket fad, and our current neighborhood of Boyle Heights as it was in the 1930s. Of course if you need advice on something we haven’t made a video about yet, you can always Ask Grandma Anything.
As we’ve gotten older we’ve come to believe there’s room for all different kinds of people in our life, which is why we’re friends with Crimebo, the world’s only crime clown, who we met on our grandchildren’s Esotouric tour bus. He’s actually very nice!
If you get PopPop in the right mood, he might let you listen to his iPod, tell you his favorite joke (warning: it’s a racy one), or about getting stuck up the Amazon, about his teenage fascination with a streetcorner STD remedy salesman, or about how he used to buy tickets to dance with pretty girls in Downtown Los Angeles. Of course, that was B.B.C. — before Barbara Cooper!
On special occasions we like to let what’s left of our hair down and party. Cutie loves to get dolled up. In thoughtful moments, we wonder just what it is our fans want. When we ask them, they usually say they want to know our secret for staying deeply in love for more than seven decades. So if that’s what brought you here, we won’t keep you waiting: here’s the secret!
We love you all for visiting and hope you have a happy life. Come back again soon and share in our life, love and adventures.
